| Pontus Lindwall, CEO, Betsson |
Mr Pontus Lindwall (43) is the CEO and President of Betsson, which is a gaming company listed on the Nasdaq OMX Nordic Mid Cap. Betsson is a pure business to consumer company and has a market cap of 280 MEUR.
Mr Lindwall started his career as a student at the Royal Institue of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. After his master was finished in 1991 he started working as a business developer for the landsbased gaming company Cherry. After a couple of years at Cherry he quit the business and began working with his family’s real estate company. However, in 1996 Mr Lindwall returned to the gaming industri as he founded Net Entertainment when he realized the possibility of gambling over the Internet. Later on Net Entertaiment was aquired by Cherry which Mr Lindwall later on became CEO and President of. Cherry aquired the site Betsson.com in 2005. Net Entertainment was split up in two pieces and the B2B-business is now listed on the Nasdaq OMX Nordic Small Cap with a market cap of 110 MEUR. The original landbased business of Cherry was separated from the Internet business in 2006 and Cherry was renamed Betsson. Betsson is now a succesful internet gaming operator.
Mr Lindwall lives in Stockholm with his wife and five kids.

Richard is Chief Executive of the Sporting Index Group, the world’s largest sports and event spread betting company with an estimated UK market share of over 75%. Sporting Index offers spread bets on a wide range of international sports and on world and tv events. It also offers a pricing and liability management service for companies wishing to provide betting to their clients. The company transacts predominantly through its websites and also offers customers the ability to bet on mobile phones and via telephone. Uniquely, over 50% of all bets are taken ‘in play’, i.e. during the event. Sporting Index has also developed a wide range of on-line, proprietary gaming products, utilising its compelling higher/lower mechanism.

Since establishing Betfair, Mark has been at the forefront of the challenge to understand how betting and sport interact and has led initiatives with government and sport. Mark led Betfair's licensing initiatives on both sides of the world and was also behind the company's much-documented information-sharing agreements with sport.
Mark comes from a family steeped in sporting tradition. His father, Barry Davies, is the BBC’s leading sport commentator and his sister Giselle is Director of Communications at the International Olympic Committee.

Peter Wilson, Partner, Blake Lapthorn |
Peter joined the firm in 1989 and specialises in gambling and business investigations. He has acted for clients across the gambling sector, both land-based and remote. In particular, he has been advising on internet gambling for a number of years now and assists clients in a variety of different gambling jurisdictions around the world with regulatory and commercial issues.
Peter has a varied business investigation practice including representing tax payers in relation to HMRC enquiries and defending fraud, money laundering or other white collar prosecutions. He also has experience in dealing with broader regulatory matters including environmental, food safety, gang master licensing, trading standards and immigration
Peter is a member of the Society for the Study of Gambling and the International Bar Association (Business Crime Section). Out of work, he enjoys art.

Morten Ronde, Head Legal Adviser, Danish Gaming Board |
Morten Ronde is a Master of Law from Copenhagen University in 1999. He started his career as a legal adviser in the Danish State Lottery the same year.
In 2000 he moved to the newly founded Gaming Board to a position as Head Legal Adviser. The Danish Gaming Board is an independent body in the Ministry of Taxation.
Morten works with a multitude of regulation and policy issues both domestically and internationally. In his work he is – amongst other things - involved in legislation, EU infringement case and the Ladbrokes civil court case against the Danish State.
Internationally he is involved with the European regulatory organization, GREF, Gaming Regulators European Forum, where he holds a position as a member of the Executive Board.

Andre Wilsenach, Chairman, International Association of Gaming Regulators |
André Wilsenach has been the CEO of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, since 2002. This is an independent and non-political regulatory authority in the Channel Islands, established to license and regulate eGambling in Alderney.
In 1995, he was appointed as a member of the Commission that investigated and recommended the legalisation of gambling in South Africa.
During the period 1995 to 2000 he was the CEO of one of the South African provincial gaming boards and a member of the National Gambling Board of South Africa.
In 2001 he was appointed as the CEO of Zonke Monitoring Services, a private company established to render electronic monitoring services to the National Gambling Board of South Africa.
During the period 2003 to 2005 he advised the Guernsey Gambling Control Commission on the development and implementation of a regulatory framework for casino gaming.
He is currently the Chairman of the International Association of Gaming Regulators and a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law.
He received the Regulator of the Year Award from the World Online Gambling Law Report in 2005 and 2008.

Clive Hawkswood has been Chief Executive of the Remote Gambling Association (RGA) since its establishment in August 2005 following the merger of the Association of Remote Gambling Operators (ARGO) and the Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association (iGGBA). Before that he was the General Secretary of ARGO.
Clive was formerly head of the Betting & Racing Branch at the British Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). Prior to that, he was at the Home Office, spending time in both the Gambling Section and the Horseracing Policy Team. Earlier in his career he spent several years working in the bookmaking industry.
He is also a Director of the Responsibility in Gambling Trust (RIGT), the British charity that raises and allocates funds for problem gambling related research, education and treatment.

Robin Le Prevost, a highly successful Business Development Manager was born in Guernsey one of the British Channel Islands. Having spent a significant part of his early working life working abroad, Robin returned to the Islands in the early 80’s. Working in a mixture of finance and start-up projects Robin joined the local government owned Guernsey Telecoms as Business Development Manager in 2000, a company, which was bought out by the global giant Cable and Wireless in 2002.
