What is a webinar?

A webinar is a way to attend a conference without leaving the office.

Using your computer and telephone, you can hear a presentation (like a conference call) and also see the presenter's slides (watching over an internet connection).

After registration, you will be e-mailed information such as:

  • Your unique connection link
  • Your webinar ID
  • Technical support information

Please keep your registration confirmation e-mail as this information is essential to giving you access to the webinar

Attending the webinar

  • Just before the scheduled time of the presentation, click on the connection link and sign on for the webinar
  • You'll have to download some software to your computer, so make sure your security firewall settings allow for this
  • This software gives you the ability to see the presenters' slides on your computer, plus any highlighting he/she might do during the presentation. If you want to listen to the audio you might need to use headphones
  • During the webinar you might be asked to respond to polling questions - if so, you'll be given access to the results of the poll
  • If your internet access is not very fast, you can still listen to the audio presentation by calling the telephone number (like a conference call). In most cases, you'll be charged regular rates for the time you're on the phone.

Bullet Business uses GoToWebinar for its online programs.

Participation is limited to 1,000 people and information requested from participants both at registration and after the webinar is protected by our privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties. The GoToWebinar is a secure site.
