Jürgen Creutzmann MEP is Member of the Committee for Industry, Research and Energy and Substitute Member of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection in the European Parliament. He was the Parliament's Rapporteur for its Resolution on Online Gambling in the Internal Market of 15 November 2011. Between 1973 and 2006 Mr. Creutzmann worked at BASF SE, lastly as Director for Subsidiaries Accounting Services where he was responsible for the accountancy of around 50 subsidiaries and affiliated companies of BASF SE. Since 1983 he has been Treasurer and Board Member of the FDP Rhineland-Palatinate. He has held many positions in German regional politics including serving as a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate District Council since 1989, the Palatinate District Council since 2004 and the Rhineland Palatinate Regional Assembly from 1998 to 2009 (since 2001 as Chairman of the Committee for European Affairs) . He was elected to the European Parliament in 2009.

Birgitte Sand is a master of Law from Copenhagen University in 1985. BS started her career in the court of Taxation and moved on to a wide range of different positions and tasks in the Ministry of Taxation covering legal advice on corporate tax structures and tax on private companies, projects regarding innovation, development, strategy and change of organization and structures within the Ministry of Taxation.

BS has been in charge of the development of a nationwide IT salary system and head of the central IT department, and BS has for many years been a member of the board covering the nationwide planning of the tax production (what to focus on in regard to compliance).

For a number of years BS also taught various subjects.

BS took up her current position after several years of work as a member of the Executive Board of the Copenhagen Tax Center.

Dr Trevor De Giorgio is currently employed at Greentube Malta as the International Compliance Manager. In this role Trevor has focussed on international regulatory and public affairs for Greentube. Before joining Greentube, Trevor worked within the Lotteries and Gaming Authority's Legal department paying particular attention to EU Affairs and Developments. In this role Trevor drafted the LGA's position on a number of European Issues as well as attending European Council meetings in Brussels. Prior to this Trevor was employed as a Parliamentary Assistant to Dr. Simon Busuttil MEP at the European Parliament in Brussels followed by a year long experience at Ganado Sammut Advocates.

Trevor was conferred with an MA in European Law and at the University of La Sapienza (Rome). Earlier, he was awarded an LL.D. from the University of Malta, after writing and successfully defending his thesis entitled, The Constitutional Implications of a Hung Parliament'. In November 2003, Trevor graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Legal and European Studies.

The remainder of Ian’s career to date was spent in the British Army throughout the world.
Unusually for a regulatory position Ian is not a lawyer! He has a degree in Engineering and an MBA.

Valérie recognised competence in national and EU gaming law starts acting as a consultant to SOGEI the technological partner of the Italian Gambling regulator AAMS. Within the International Gambling Observatory established by the AAMS from 2004 to 2008, she has been dealing with gambling market regulation and connected legal and regulatory issues.

The professional team she is now leading currently assists and advises national and international gambling corporations on all legal and regulatory aspects of the Italian gambling market from the achievement/purchase of on-line and land-based Italian licenses and compliance proceedings before the regulatory bodies; the drafting, negotiation of agreements, especially with regard to partnership arrangements for all gambling forms (white-label agreements, affiliates agreements, etc.), to the counselling on strategic legal issues (advertising, data protection, games rules, etc.).

Member of Rome bar, she is a lecturer in EU Law at the LUISS University in Rome and at the School of Finance Ministry Scuola Superiore dell'Economia e delle Finanze (SSEF) and a regular conference speaker on gambling laws in Europe.

She actively contributes to gaming and legal reviews both at international (World online gambling law report) and national level (Lexgiochi), as author of many articles.

Her working languages are Italian, French, English and German.
